"Is it just me, or is the sky a bit brown above that mountain?"
A little bit later, the air smelled quite different.
A little bit later, visibility was quite low, could barely see yamnuska from the highway. Though it was mid afternoon, the sun on the ground had the orange glow of sunset.
A while later, started to get a bit clearer.
Checked online in the evening, found there was a prescribed burn near canmore that day.
